The Executive Director of Operations will play a mission-critical role in leading enterprise operations at scale. This executive will be responsible for ensuring operational efficiency, building resilient supply chains, driving process excellence, and enabling digital transformation across global operations. Reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer and working closely with the CEO and Board, this leader will shape operational strategy, execution, and performance while building a strong culture of accountability and innovation.
This is a high-impact role requiring a strategic operator who thrives in complex, multinational environments and who can balance short-term execution with long-term transformation.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities

Global Operations Leadership: Oversee day-to-day and long-term operations across manufacturing, supply chain, procurement, and logistics.

Operational Strategy: Translate enterprise strategy into operational execution across diverse global markets.

Efficiency & Scalability: Implement Lean, Six Sigma, and digital operations frameworks to improve performance and scalability.

Risk & Resilience: Build robust systems for supply chain resilience, compliance, and business continuity.

Technology Integration: Drive adoption of automation, AI, and digital platforms to modernize operations.

Sustainability & ESG: Embed sustainability principles into operations, ensuring compliance with ESG goals and global standards.

Executive Reporting: Provide operational insights and recommendations to the COO, CEO, and Board of Directors.

Leadership Development: Build and mentor high-performing global teams, ensuring succession planning and leadership growth.
Qualifications, Special Knowledge, Education and Abilities

18+ years of progressive leadership in operations, supply chain, or enterprise management, with at least 7+ years at the executive level.

Proven record of delivering operational excellence in Fortune 500 or multinational organizations.

Deep expertise in manufacturing, global logistics, supply chain strategy, and operational technology.

Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree in Business, Operations, or Engineering strongly preferred.

Strong financial acumen, with experience managing multi-billion-dollar budgets.

Expertise in Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement frameworks.

Exceptional executive communication and Board-level influencing ability.

Track record of leading large, diverse, and global operational teams.
