The Chief Operating Officer (COO) will serve as the operational architect of the organization, ensuring strategic alignment between business priorities and execution. As a member of the Executive Leadership Team and direct partner to the CEO, the COO will be accountable for scaling operations globally, strengthening resilience across supply chains, driving cross-functional integration, and ensuring consistent value delivery to customers and stakeholders.

This is a high-impact role designed for a seasoned operator who thrives in complex, multinational environments and who can balance executional precision with strategic foresight.


Principal Duties and Responsibilities

  • Operational Leadership: Oversee all global operations, including supply chain, customer delivery, procurement, facilities, and shared services.

  • Strategic Execution: Translate Board and CEO priorities into operational strategies that scale effectively across geographies.

  • Enterprise Performance: Build KPIs and governance systems to track efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction.

  • Digital Operations: Champion the use of advanced technologies (automation, AI, digital twins) to optimize performance.

  • Risk & Resilience: Ensure robust business continuity, enterprise risk management, and operational compliance across global markets.

  • Cross-Functional Integration: Partner with Finance, Product, HR, and Technology to align operations with business growth.

  • Sustainability: Embed ESG and responsible sourcing into the operating model.

  • Board Engagement: Deliver regular updates and insights on operational health and strategic progress to the Board of Directors.

  • Talent Development: Build high-performing operational teams and invest in future leaders to sustain long-term success.


Qualifications, Special Knowledge, Education, and Abilities

  • 20+ years of progressive leadership in global operations, supply chain, or enterprise transformation, including at least 8+ years in an executive role.

  • Proven record of leading Fortune 500-scale operations or equivalent multinational environments.

  • Expertise in global supply chains, digital operations, Lean/Six Sigma, and large-scale P&L management.

  • Strong understanding of risk management, governance, compliance, and ESG practices.

  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree in Business, Operations, or Engineering highly preferred.

  • Exceptional ability to influence at the Board and C-suite level.

  • Track record of building diverse, global teams and driving inclusive leadership practices.


Strategic Support

The COO is the primary strategic partner to the CEO in operationalizing growth, innovation, and resilience. Contributions include:

  • Supporting M&A integration and global expansion strategies.

  • Advising on operational efficiency and capital allocation.

  • Partnering with the CFO and CIO to align digital, financial, and operational roadmaps.

  • Acting as a change agent during large-scale transformations, ensuring cultural alignment and accountability.
