The Senior Director of Program Management will lead mission-critical portfolios spanning technology modernization, operational transformation, and cross-functional initiatives. This role is responsible for building governance models, aligning delivery across multiple business units, and ensuring execution excellence across large, multi-year programs.
This position is designed for a senior leader who combines strategic thinking, operational discipline, and strong executive presence, someone capable of navigating ambiguity, influencing senior stakeholders, and driving outcomes in complex environments.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Lead enterprise-level program portfolios spanning technology, operations, and business transformation initiatives.

Establish and oversee program governance frameworks, delivery standards, and execution methodologies.

Translate strategic objectives into structured roadmaps, milestones, and execution plans.

Partner with Executive Leadership to prioritize initiatives, manage dependencies, and allocate resources effectively.

Oversee program financials, including forecasting, cost controls, benefits realization, and risk management.

Drive alignment across Product, Engineering, Operations, Finance, and external partners.

Identify and mitigate program risks, escalation paths, and delivery constraints.

Lead and mentor Program Directors, Program Managers, and PMO leaders.

Develop performance dashboards and executive reporting for leadership and board-level reviews.

Champion continuous improvement across delivery models, tooling, and organizational maturity.
Job Qualifications and Requirements

12+ years of experience in Program Management, PMO leadership, or large-scale initiative delivery.

Demonstrated success leading enterprise programs across technology, digital transformation, or operations.

Strong command of program governance, portfolio management, and execution frameworks.

Experience managing multi-million-dollar budgets and complex delivery timelines.

Proven ability to partner with senior executives and influence decision-making.

Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree or professional certifications preferred.

Experience operating in fast-paced, matrixed, and highly regulated environments.

Compensation & Benefits

Base Salary: $244,000 – $310,000
