The Director of Project Management will lead a centralized Project Management function responsible for delivering high-impact, cross-functional initiatives that support corporate growth, digital modernization, and operational excellence. This role shapes delivery strategy, defines execution standards, and ensures programs are delivered on time, on scope, and with measurable business outcomes.
You will oversee portfolios that span technology modernization, enterprise systems, platform launches, regulatory initiatives, and transformation programs, working directly with executive leadership to align delivery with strategy.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Lead the enterprise Project Management organization, including portfolio governance, delivery frameworks, and execution standards.

Own the end-to-end delivery of complex, cross-functional programs involving Technology, Product, Operations, Finance, and external partners.

Establish and enforce project governance models, stage gates, risk controls, and escalation processes.

Translate strategic objectives into executable roadmaps, milestones, and delivery plans.

Oversee resource planning, capacity management, and prioritization across multiple concurrent initiatives.

Implement standardized methodologies (Agile, Hybrid, Waterfall) tailored to enterprise needs.

Monitor delivery performance using KPIs, dashboards, and executive reporting frameworks.

Proactively identify risks, dependencies, and delivery constraints; drive mitigation strategies.

Lead, mentor, and develop Senior Project Managers and Program Leaders.

Present delivery status, investment insights, and risk assessments to executive leadership.
Job Qualifications and Requirements

12+ years of experience in Project or Program Management within large, complex organizations.

5+ years leading enterprise-scale PMOs, portfolios, or delivery organizations.

Proven success in delivering multi-million-dollar, cross-functional initiatives.

Strong knowledge of Agile, SAFe, Hybrid, and traditional project management frameworks.

Experience partnering closely with Technology, Product, Operations, and Executive teams.

Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree, MBA, or PMP preferred.

Demonstrated expertise in governance, financial tracking, and delivery optimization.
