The Chief Business Finance Officer (CBFO) is a senior executive role responsible for aligning financial strategy with enterprise operations, growth initiatives, and long-range planning. This role partners closely with executive leadership to guide capital allocation, performance optimization, forecasting, and strategic investment decisions across the business.
This position is designed for a finance leader who brings deep commercial insight, strong operational acumen, and the ability to influence enterprise-wide outcomes through disciplined financial leadership.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Lead enterprise financial strategy in direct alignment with business objectives and operational priorities.

Oversee financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and performance management across business units.

Partner with executive leadership to evaluate growth initiatives, investments, and strategic opportunities.

Drive financial insights that support operational efficiency, margin optimization, and scalable growth.

Establish and monitor KPIs, financial dashboards, and performance metrics across the organization.

Oversee financial governance, internal controls, and risk management frameworks.

Support capital allocation decisions, cost optimization initiatives, and long-term financial modeling.

Lead and develop senior finance leaders and cross-functional finance teams.

Ensure financial discipline across enterprise programs, initiatives, and transformation efforts.
Job Qualifications and Requirements

15+ years of progressive finance leadership experience in enterprise or large-scale business environments.

Proven experience in business finance, FP&A, operational finance, or corporate finance leadership.

Strong understanding of enterprise operations, commercial models, and performance management.

Demonstrated success partnering with executive leadership on strategy and growth initiatives.

Advanced financial modeling, forecasting, and analytical expertise.

Bachelor’s degree required; MBA, CPA, CFA, or equivalent advanced qualification strongly preferred.

Experience presenting to senior executives, boards, or investment committees.

Base Salary: $370,000 – $425,000
