As Vice President of IT Operations, you will lead global IT operations, drive modernization initiatives, and partner closely with executive leadership to ensure technology operations support long-term enterprise strategy.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Enterprise IT Operations Leadership: Own global IT operations, including infrastructure, cloud platforms, enterprise applications, service desk, and end-user computing.

  • Operational Resilience & Availability: Ensure high availability, performance, and reliability of mission-critical systems through mature incident, problem, and change management practices.

  • Cloud & Infrastructure Strategy: Lead multi-cloud and hybrid infrastructure operations, including capacity planning, cost optimization, and performance governance.

  • Service Management Excellence: Oversee ITSM frameworks, SLAs, and service delivery metrics to drive operational consistency and customer satisfaction.

  • Security & Risk Partnership: Collaborate with cybersecurity leadership to support secure operations, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning.

  • Modernization & Automation: Drive automation, observability, and operational tooling to improve efficiency and reduce operational risk.

  • Financial & Vendor Management: Manage operational budgets, vendor relationships, and contract performance to maximize value and control cost.

  • Leadership & Talent Development: Build, mentor, and lead global IT operations teams, fostering accountability, continuous improvement, and leadership depth.


Job Qualifications and Requirements

  • 15+ years of progressive experience in IT Operations, Infrastructure, or Enterprise Technology leadership, including senior or executive-level roles.

  • Proven experience leading IT operations in cloud-first, enterprise-scale environments.

  • Deep knowledge of ITSM, infrastructure operations, cloud platforms, enterprise applications, and operational governance.

  • Demonstrated success managing large, distributed teams across multiple regions.

  • Strong background in vendor management, budget ownership, and enterprise technology contracts.

  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.

  • Provide operational insight for M&A integration, global expansion, and platform scalability.

  • Enable data-driven decision-making through operational metrics and performance reporting.

  • Strengthen enterprise risk posture through resilient, well-governed IT operations.


Working Conditions

  • Remote role with periodic travel for executive meetings, operational reviews, and leadership off-sites.

  • Requires flexibility to support global operations and occasional off-hours incident response.

  • High-visibility executive role with accountability for system reliability and service performance.

  • Fast-paced environment requiring adaptability, prioritization, and sound decision-making.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base Salary: $314,000 – $372,000

  • Performance Bonus: Annual executive incentive tied to operational outcomes
