Job Description

About the Role

At enterprise scale, operational excellence is no longer defined by efficiency alone; it is defined by resilience, velocity, intelligence, and scalability. We are seeking a Senior Vice President of Operations to lead and evolve a globally distributed operating model supporting advanced manufacturing, digital platforms, and intelligent supply ecosystems.

This role sits at the center of enterprise execution. The SVP of Operations will oversee a complex, multi-continent operational footprint encompassing manufacturing, supply chain, fulfillment, quality, customer delivery, and continuous improvement. The mandate is to architect and run a modern operating system—one that integrates data, automation, and AI-driven decision-making across every operational layer.

You will partner directly with the CEO, CFO, CIO, and Board to align operational strategy with long-term growth, margin expansion, and customer experience. The role requires a leader who has successfully scaled operations through periods of rapid growth, transformation, and global expansion, while maintaining discipline, governance, and operational integrity.

This is a defining role for an executive who thrives in high-complexity environments and understands how to convert strategy into sustained operational performance at scale.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end enterprise operations, including manufacturing, supply chain, logistics, fulfillment, quality, and service delivery.

  • Design and execute a multi-year operational strategy aligned with corporate growth, margin, and customer experience objectives.

  • Lead global operational transformation initiatives, integrating automation, advanced analytics, and AI-enabled execution models.

  • Establish enterprise operating rhythms, performance dashboards, and governance mechanisms across regions and business units.

  • Drive cost structure optimization, productivity gains, and working-capital efficiency at scale.

  • Ensure operational resilience through risk management, capacity planning, and continuity strategies.

  • Oversee operational integration during acquisitions, expansions, or platform scaling initiatives.

  • Build and mentor a global leadership team, ensuring succession planning and executive bench strength.

  • Partner with Product, Engineering, Finance, and Commercial leadership to align operations with innovation and market demand.

  • Represent operations in executive reviews, investor discussions, and board-level forums.

Job Qualifications and Requirements

  • 15+ years of progressive leadership experience in operations, manufacturing, supply chain, or enterprise execution roles.

  • Proven track record as a senior executive leading large-scale, global operations within complex organizations.

  • Deep expertise in modern operating models, continuous improvement, and large-scale transformation.

  • Strong financial acumen with experience managing P&L, cost structures, and capital investments.

  • Demonstrated success implementing technology-enabled operations (automation, data platforms, AI).

  • Experience operating in highly regulated, quality-driven, or mission-critical environments.

  • Ability to influence at the CEO and Board level with credibility and strategic insight.

Personal Capabilities and Qualifications

  • Executive presence with the ability to lead through influence and clarity.

  • Strategic thinker who balances long-term vision with operational discipline.

  • Highly data-driven, decisive, and accountable.

  • Strong people leader with a commitment to developing high-performing teams.

  • Resilient, adaptable, and effective in high-stakes, fast-changing environments.

  • Exceptional communicator capable of aligning diverse stakeholders around a unified operational vision.

Strategic Support

  • Serve as a key advisor to the CEO and Executive Leadership Team on operational strategy, risk, and execution.

  • Support enterprise-wide growth initiatives, market expansion, and scalability planning.

  • Partner with Finance on long-range planning, capital allocation, and margin improvement initiatives.

  • Provide operational insight to the Board and support governance, ESG, and compliance initiatives.

  • Influence corporate strategy through operational intelligence and performance analytics.

Working Conditions

  • Hybrid executive role with regular collaboration across global teams and regions.

  • Periodic domestic and international travel to operational sites, leadership forums, and board meetings.

  • High-visibility role with accountability for enterprise-critical outcomes.

  • Fast-paced environment requiring strong prioritization and decision-making under complexity.
