About the Role

In today’s enterprise environment, quality is no longer a downstream function; it is a strategic capability that protects brand trust, enables speed, and underpins customer confidence at a global scale. We are seeking a Vice President of Quality Assurance to redefine how quality is embedded across product development, platform delivery, and enterprise operations.

This role is built for an executive who has led quality at scale across complex, multi-product ecosystems, where reliability, security, performance, and regulatory readiness are non-negotiable. As VP of Quality Assurance, you will be responsible for setting the enterprise QA vision, evolving quality from traditional testing into an integrated, automation-first, AI-enabled discipline that accelerates innovation while safeguarding stability.

You will oversee global QA strategy across software, platforms, data systems, and integrations, partnering closely with Engineering, Product, Security, Compliance, and Operations. Your mandate is to ensure that quality is engineered into every stage of the lifecycle from design and development to deployment and continuous delivery, while enabling teams to move faster with confidence.

This is a highly visible leadership role with direct influence on customer experience, platform resilience, regulatory posture, and long-term enterprise value.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Define and lead the enterprise Quality Assurance strategy across all products, platforms, and digital services.

  • Transform QA into a modern, automation-driven, shift-left capability embedded throughout the SDLC.

  • Establish enterprise standards for test architecture, automation frameworks, performance testing, and quality metrics.

  • Oversee quality governance across global engineering teams, ensuring consistency, scalability, and accountability.

  • Drive adoption of AI-assisted testing, continuous quality monitoring, and predictive defect analytics.

  • Partner with Product and Engineering leadership to align quality objectives with release velocity and innovation goals.

  • Ensure quality readiness for mission-critical launches, platform migrations, and large-scale transformations.

  • Lead risk-based testing strategies covering reliability, security, compliance, and customer impact.

  • Build and manage global QA organizations, including leaders, architects, and automation specialists.

  • Report quality performance, risk posture, and improvement initiatives to executive leadership and board committees.


Job Qualifications and Requirements

  • 15+ years of experience in Quality Assurance, Engineering, or Technology Leadership roles.

  • Proven success leading QA at enterprise scale across complex, distributed technology environments.

  • Deep expertise in test automation, CI/CD pipelines, DevOps, and modern quality engineering practices.

  • Strong understanding of cloud platforms, microservices, APIs, data systems, and enterprise architectures.

  • Experience operating in highly regulated or mission-critical environments preferred.

  • Demonstrated ability to influence senior engineering, product, and executive leaders.

  • Strong financial and operational acumen, including budget ownership and ROI-driven transformation initiatives.

  • Influence product roadmaps, release strategies, and investment priorities through quality insights.

  • Ensure quality excellence supports customer trust, regulatory confidence, and brand reputation.

  • Contribute to board-level discussions on platform resilience, risk management, and long-term scalability.


Working Conditions

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base Salary: $340,000 – $410,000
