About the Role

At enterprise scale, technical programs are the connective tissue between vision and delivery. We are seeking a Senior Manager of Technical Programs to lead complex, cross-functional initiatives that span platform engineering, cloud infrastructure, data, security, and product development across a globally distributed organization.

This role is designed for a senior program leader who understands how to translate strategy into coordinated execution across multiple technical domains. You will own the orchestration of large, interdependent programs, aligning engineering execution, product priorities, and business outcomes while maintaining rigorous control over scope, risk, dependencies, and delivery timelines.

Partnering closely with Engineering, Product, Architecture, Security, and Operations leaders, you will establish program governance, drive decision-making, and ensure transparency at the executive level. You will bring structure to ambiguity, enable teams to move faster together, and ensure that the organization delivers reliably at scale.

This is not a task-tracking role. It is a mandate to build technical program management as a strategic enterprise capability, one that accelerates delivery, reduces risk, and enables sustained innovation.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of large, complex technical programs across engineering and platform teams.

  • Define program strategy, scope, milestones, and success metrics aligned with enterprise objectives.

  • Coordinate cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Product, Architecture, Security, and Vendors.

  • Manage interdependencies, risks, and trade-offs across multiple concurrent initiatives.

  • Establish governance, reporting cadence, and executive-level dashboards.

  • Drive decision-making forums and remove blockers to maintain delivery momentum.

  • Ensure alignment between technical execution and business priorities.

  • Oversee release planning, readiness, and post-launch evaluation.

  • Mentor and develop program managers and technical leaders.

  • Communicate program status, risks, and outcomes to senior leadership.


Job Qualifications and Requirements

  • 10–15+ years of experience in technical program management, engineering delivery, or related roles.

  • Proven success leading large, multi-team technical programs in enterprise environments.

  • Strong understanding of modern software development, cloud platforms, and distributed systems.

  • Experience working with Agile, SAFe, and hybrid delivery models.

  • Demonstrated ability to influence senior technical and business stakeholders.

  • Strong analytical skills with experience managing budgets, timelines, and delivery metrics.

  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree or relevant certifications preferred.

  • Collaborate with Security and Compliance to ensure risk-aware execution.

  • Support M&A integration, platform consolidation, and enterprise scaling efforts.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base Salary: $230,000 – $328,000
