Job Description

About the Company

We are a global hyperscale infrastructure organization powering next-generation AI platforms, cloud computing environments, quantum research clusters, and mission-critical digital ecosystems. Our campuses support multi-gigawatt data center capacity across strategic global regions, serving enterprise, government, and AI-native organizations operating at extreme scale.

With accelerated demand for AI compute, our global footprint is expanding rapidly — requiring precision-driven campus readiness, operational resilience, sustainability alignment, and large-scale facilities execution. Our environments integrate advanced cooling systems, high-density power distribution, renewable energy frameworks, and intelligent building management systems.

We are seeking a Vice President of Campus Readiness & Facilities Execution to lead end-to-end readiness strategy, commissioning oversight, and operational integration across our hyperscale campus portfolio.

This is not a facilities maintenance role. This is a strategic infrastructure leadership position responsible for delivering mission-ready, high-availability AI campuses at a global scale.

Job Function

The VP of Campus Readiness & Facilities Execution will oversee global campus launch readiness, commissioning programs, facilities integration, and operational transition strategies for multi-billion-dollar hyperscale infrastructure developments.

This executive will ensure that campuses move from construction completion to full operational capacity with zero-compromise standards on reliability, safety, compliance, and performance.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Lead global campus readiness strategy across multi-region hyperscale developments

  • Oversee commissioning, validation, and operational handover of Tier III and Tier IV data center environments

  • Establish standardized readiness frameworks for power, cooling, networking, and physical security systems

  • Direct cross-functional integration between Construction, Engineering, IT Infrastructure, and Operations teams

  • Develop enterprise-level facilities execution playbooks and performance benchmarks

  • Ensure compliance with international safety, sustainability, and environmental standards

  • Manage risk mitigation planning for mission-critical go-live timelines

  • Oversee contractor and vendor coordination during final readiness phases

  • Drive operational scalability frameworks for high-density AI compute deployments

  • Implement predictive maintenance and digital twin strategies for campus optimization

  • Lead emergency preparedness, resiliency planning, and incident response readiness

  • Ensure energy efficiency and sustainability alignment with corporate ESG commitments

Strategic Support

  • Align campus development roadmap with global AI capacity expansion strategy

  • Advise executive leadership on infrastructure risk exposure and readiness metrics

  • Support site selection and feasibility assessments for future campus expansion

  • Collaborate with Sustainability teams on carbon-neutral campus initiatives

  • Contribute to capital expenditure forecasting and infrastructure investment planning

  • Lead post-launch performance analysis and continuous improvement initiatives

Job Qualifications and Requirements

  • 15+ years of progressive leadership in large-scale facilities, infrastructure, or data center operations

  • 7+ years overseeing hyperscale data center or mission-critical campus deployments

  • Proven experience delivering multi-site infrastructure portfolios exceeding $1B+ in capital value

  • Deep knowledge of power distribution, cooling systems, BMS, SCADA, and critical infrastructure systems

  • Experience with Tier III / Tier IV standards and global compliance frameworks

  • Strong background in commissioning, operational transition, and readiness certification processes

  • Demonstrated leadership of cross-functional teams across global regions

  • Financial acumen in capital planning and cost control

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, Construction Management, or related field

  • Professional certifications (PE, CFM, PMP, or equivalent) preferred

Personal Capabilities and Qualifications

  • Executive-level decision-making capability

  • Systems-thinking mindset with operational rigor

  • High accountability for uptime and reliability

  • Exceptional cross-functional leadership and stakeholder management

  • Strong crisis management and problem-solving ability

  • Results-driven leadership style

  • Global perspective with cultural agility

  • Commitment to sustainability and infrastructure innovation
