The Chief Data Officer is a senior executive leader responsible for defining and executing a unified data strategy across the organization. This role establishes enterprise data governance, drives advanced analytics and AI enablement, ensures data integrity and security, and transforms raw information into actionable intelligence that supports business growth.
The CDO partners closely with executive leadership across Technology, Product, Finance, Operations, Security, and Legal to build a modern, scalable data ecosystem that accelerates innovation while maintaining trust, compliance, and operational excellence. This role is ideal for a visionary data leader with deep technical expertise and strong business acumen.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Define and lead the enterprise-wide data strategy aligned with long-term business objectives and digital transformation goals.

Oversee data architecture, data engineering, analytics platforms, and data science capabilities across the organization.

Establish robust data governance, quality standards, stewardship models, and master data frameworks.

Drive the adoption of advanced analytics, AI/ML, and predictive intelligence across products and operations.

Ensure data privacy, regulatory compliance, and ethical data usage across all regions and platforms.

Partner with Technology and Security leadership to modernize data infrastructure and cloud-based data platforms.

Enable data democratization through self-service analytics, reporting, and enterprise data products.

Lead executive-level insights, dashboards, and performance intelligence to support strategic decision-making.

Build and mentor high-performing data, analytics, and engineering teams globally.

Evaluate emerging data technologies and identify opportunities for innovation and efficiency.
Job Qualifications and Requirements

15+ years of progressive leadership experience in data, analytics, or technology roles, including executive-level responsibility.

Proven experience leading enterprise data platforms, analytics programs, and AI initiatives at scale.

Strong understanding of cloud data architectures, modern data stacks, and advanced analytics ecosystems.

Demonstrated success in implementing data governance, quality, privacy, and compliance frameworks.

Experience partnering with executive leadership and influencing enterprise-wide strategy.

Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, or Business preferred.

Compensation & Benefits

Base Salary: $370,000 – $475,000
