The Director of Business Strategy is a senior leadership role responsible for shaping enterprise strategy, translating vision into actionable initiatives, and supporting executive leadership with data-driven insights. This position sits at the intersection of strategy, finance, operations, and innovation, influencing decisions that impact market positioning, growth investments, and organizational priorities.

You will lead strategic planning cycles, evaluate new market opportunities, guide business transformation initiatives, and ensure alignment between corporate objectives and execution across the organization. This role requires strong analytical rigor, executive presence, and the ability to operate effectively in complex, evolving environments.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Lead development of enterprise and business-unit strategy aligned with long-term growth objectives.

  • Drive annual and multi-year strategic planning processes, including scenario analysis and priority setting.

  • Evaluate new market entry opportunities, partnerships, and expansion initiatives.

  • Build strategic business cases, financial models, and ROI assessments for executive review.

  • Partner with Finance, Operations, Product, and Technology leaders to align execution with strategy.

  • Monitor competitive landscape, industry trends, and macroeconomic factors impacting business performance.

  • Translate strategic insights into clear, actionable recommendations for senior leadership.

  • Support transformation initiatives related to operating model design, digital enablement, and performance optimization.

  • Prepare executive-level presentations, dashboards, and decision materials for leadership forums.

  • Establish governance frameworks to track strategic initiatives and measure outcomes.


Job Qualifications and Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in business strategy, corporate strategy, management consulting, or strategic finance.

  • Proven experience operating in large, complex organizations or high-growth environments.

  • Strong analytical capabilities, including financial modeling, forecasting, and performance analysis.

  • Experience supporting executive leadership and influencing enterprise-level decision-making.

  • Deep understanding of technology-enabled business models or enterprise services preferred.

  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree strongly preferred.

  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to simplify complex concepts.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base Salary: $285,000 – $356,000
