As Director of Corporate Development, you will oversee strategic investments, partnerships, and acquisitions, shaping the company’s long-term trajectory. This role requires deep financial acumen, strategic vision, and cross-border deal execution expertise. It is a high-impact position with direct engagement at the C-suite and Board level.


Principal Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions)

  • M&A Leadership: Lead all aspects of mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and joint ventures from origination through integration.

  • Strategic Partnerships: Identify and structure strategic alliances that enhance competitive positioning and global reach.

  • Market Intelligence: Conduct in-depth market and competitive analyses to guide investment priorities and growth strategies.

  • Financial Structuring: Develop financial models, valuations, and deal structures that maximize ROI and minimize risk.

  • Executive Reporting: Present corporate development strategies, transaction updates, and integration plans to the CEO and Board.

  • Integration Management: Oversee post-merger integration processes to ensure cultural alignment, operational efficiency, and value realization.

  • Global Stakeholder Engagement: Manage relationships with investors, advisors, regulators, and corporate partners worldwide.

  • Governance & Compliance: Ensure all corporate development activities meet regulatory, legal, and ethical standards.


Qualifications, Special Knowledge, Education and Abilities

  • 15+ years of experience in corporate development, investment banking, private equity, or management consulting, with proven success in large-scale transactions.

  • Demonstrated expertise in deal sourcing, structuring, negotiation, and post-merger integration.

  • Strong background in financial modeling, valuation methodologies, and capital markets.

  • MBA, CFA, or advanced degree in Finance, Economics, or related field strongly preferred.

  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and influencing skills with Board-level presence.

  • Global perspective with experience managing cross-border transactions and multi-jurisdictional compliance.

  • Track record of delivering measurable growth through strategic investments and partnerships.


Strategic Support

The Director of Corporate Development acts as a strategic partner to the CEO, CFO, and Board of Directors, shaping the organization’s growth agenda and capital deployment strategy. Responsibilities include:

  • Supporting corporate strategy through deal pipeline management and execution.

  • Advising executives on capital allocation, risk management, and shareholder value creation.

  • Aligning acquisitions and partnerships with long-term corporate objectives and global market opportunities.

  • Ensuring ESG, compliance, and sustainability priorities are embedded in corporate development strategies.


Working Conditions
