The Director of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) is a critical leadership role responsible for developing, implementing, and advancing enterprise-wide DEI strategies. This executive will collaborate across all business units and geographies, ensuring that DEI is not a standalone initiative but a strategic enabler of business success, employee engagement, and market competitiveness.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership: Design and implement the company’s global DEI strategy, ensuring alignment with corporate mission and values.

Program Development: Build initiatives that promote diverse hiring pipelines, equitable advancement opportunities, and inclusive workplace practices.

Data-Driven Insights: Develop metrics, dashboards, and reporting frameworks to measure DEI progress and impact.

Employee Engagement: Oversee employee resource groups (ERGs) and ensure alignment with enterprise DEI priorities.

Executive Partnership: Advise C-suite leaders and the Board on DEI progress, opportunities, and best practices.

Training & Development: Lead enterprise-wide training programs on inclusive leadership, bias reduction, and equity awareness.

Community Engagement: Build external partnerships that support community advancement and corporate social responsibility.

Global Consistency: Ensure DEI practices are scalable across geographies while respecting local culture and compliance standards.
Qualifications, Special Knowledge, Education and Abilities

15+ years of progressive experience in DEI, HR, organizational development, or corporate social responsibility, with at least 7+ years in senior leadership.

Proven success designing and executing enterprise-wide DEI strategies in global Fortune 500 or multinational organizations.

Strong expertise in inclusive leadership, change management, and cultural transformation.

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Organizational Development, or related field; advanced degree preferred.

Exceptional communication and influencing skills with Board-level presence.

Experience using data analytics, benchmarking, and best practices to measure DEI impact.

Demonstrated ability to lead global teams and cross-functional initiatives.
Strategic Support
The Director of DEI will act as a strategic partner to the Chief People Officer, CEO, and Board, embedding diversity, equity, and inclusion into the company’s long-term strategy. Key contributions include:

Advising executives on talent pipeline development, workforce equity, and cultural transformation.

Partnering with HR, Operations, and Business Unit leaders to ensure DEI objectives are met across all functions.
