About the Role

We are seeking a Director of Strategic Accounts to lead and grow relationships with our largest and most complex enterprise clients. This role is designed for a seasoned client leader who combines strategic thinking, commercial acumen, and operational excellence to drive value for both customers and the organization.

The Director of Strategic Accounts will serve as the primary executive point of contact for key accounts, overseeing adoption, expansion, and long-term relationship management. This position involves high-level collaboration with cross-functional teams, including Product, Marketing, Customer Success, Finance, and Executive Leadership, to ensure client satisfaction, revenue growth, and strategic alignment.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end relationship management for a portfolio of strategically important enterprise clients

  • Drive account growth through upsell, cross-sell, and expansion opportunities aligned with customer needs and company strategy

  • Develop and execute account plans, including business reviews, success metrics, and risk mitigation strategies

  • Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Customer Success teams to ensure successful implementation, adoption, and ROI delivery

  • Serve as the trusted advisor to executive sponsors, aligning solutions with client objectives and long-term strategy

  • Monitor account health, performance metrics, and operational excellence across client engagements

  • Lead negotiations, renewals, and contract expansions for strategic accounts

  • Mentor and guide account managers within the team to elevate performance and client impact


Job Qualifications and Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred)

  • 10+ years of experience in strategic account management, enterprise sales, or client relationship leadership

  • Proven track record of managing multi-million-dollar enterprise accounts in SaaS, AI solutions, cloud platforms, or enterprise software

  • Strong understanding of complex solution selling, customer success metrics, and account growth strategies

  • Experience managing cross-functional teams and influencing executives at client organizations

  • Strong analytical, financial, and business acumen to develop account strategies and measure success

Strategic Support

As Director of Strategic Accounts, you will provide strategic support by:

  • Advising executive leadership on key client risks, opportunities, and growth strategies

  • Driving alignment between product development and client needs for strategic solutions

  • Influencing corporate strategy through insights from strategic account interactions

  • Supporting long-term planning, expansion initiatives, and enterprise client retention programs

Compensation & Benefits

Total Compensation Range: $220,000 – $330,000 USD annually
