Job Description
About the Role
We are seeking a Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) leader to join a large-scale, high-growth technology organization operating at global enterprise complexity. This role sits at the center of strategic decision-making, partnering closely with executive leadership, business unit heads, and corporate strategy teams to guide capital allocation, long-range planning, and operational performance.
This is not a traditional reporting role. The FP&A function here is embedded directly into business strategy, owning forecasting accuracy, driving financial narratives, and influencing outcomes across product, revenue, operations, and investment priorities. The ideal candidate thrives in fast-paced, data-rich environments and is motivated by impact, visibility, and intellectual rigor.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
-
Own end-to-end financial planning cycles, including annual budgeting, rolling forecasts, long-range planning, and scenario modeling
-
Partner with senior leaders across Product, Engineering, Sales, Marketing, and Operations to translate business strategies into financial plans
-
Lead development of driver-based financial models to evaluate growth initiatives, pricing strategies, and investment trade-offs
-
Deliver clear, executive-level financial insights that influence decision-making at the C-suite and Board level
-
Analyze complex datasets to identify trends, risks, and opportunities across revenue, margin, operating expenses, and cash flow
-
Build and refine KPIs, dashboards, and performance metrics aligned with strategic objectives
-
Support M&A, strategic investments, and capital planning through valuation, diligence, and integration analysis
-
Continuously improve FP&A processes, tools, and forecasting accuracy in a scaled enterprise environment
Job Qualifications and Requirements
-
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (MBA or CPA strongly preferred)
-
8+ years of progressive FP&A or corporate finance experience within technology, SaaS, digital platforms, or large multinational organizations
-
Proven experience supporting senior leadership with complex financial analysis and strategic recommendations
-
Advanced financial modeling skills with a deep understanding of P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow dynamics
-
Strong proficiency in financial systems, planning tools, and large-scale data environments (e.g., ERP, planning platforms, BI tools)
-
Experience operating in matrixed, global organizations with multiple stakeholders
Personal Capabilities and Qualifications
-
Strategic thinker with the ability to connect financial outcomes to business decisions
-
Highly analytical with strong attention to detail and intellectual curiosity
-
Confident communicator capable of influencing senior leaders without formal authority
-
Comfortable navigating ambiguity, competing priorities, and rapid change
-
Strong ownership mindset with a bias toward action and accountability
-
Collaborative partner who builds trust across finance and non-finance teams
