About the Role

Digital and AI transformation at enterprise scale is no longer about isolated innovation; it is about rewiring how the organization operates, decides, and delivers value. We are seeking a Head of Digital & AI Transformation to lead enterprise-wide modernization initiatives that embed advanced digital capabilities and artificial intelligence into the core of the business.

This role is designed for a senior transformation leader who understands how to move beyond experimentation to measurable impact. The Head of Digital & AI Transformation will define and execute the roadmap that aligns technology, data, process, and people to deliver step-change improvements in productivity, customer experience, and decision-making.

Partnering closely with the CEO, CIO/CTO, Chief Data Officer, and business leaders, you will drive large-scale change across functions, modernizing operating models, deploying AI responsibly, and ensuring transformation initiatives deliver tangible outcomes. You will balance ambition with execution discipline, ensuring initiatives scale securely, ethically, and sustainably.

This is not an innovation lab role. It is a mandate to build digital and AI transformation as a repeatable enterprise capability, shaping how the organization competes and grows over the next decade.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Define and lead the enterprise digital and AI transformation strategy and roadmap.

  • Identify high-value use cases for AI, automation, and advanced analytics across the business.

  • Drive large-scale transformation programs from concept through enterprise adoption.

  • Partner with Technology, Data, and Security leaders to ensure scalable and responsible AI deployment.

  • Modernize business processes, operating models, and decision frameworks through digital tools.

  • Establish governance, performance metrics, and benefits-realization tracking for transformation initiatives.

  • Ensure change management, capability building, and adoption across business units.

  • Manage transformation portfolios, dependencies, and investment prioritization.

  • Communicate transformation progress, risks, and outcomes to executive leadership and the Board.

  • Build and lead a high-performing digital transformation and AI enablement team.


Job Qualifications and Requirements

  • 15+ years of leadership experience in digital transformation, technology, or enterprise change roles.

  • Proven success leading large-scale digital and AI initiatives within complex organizations.

  • Strong understanding of AI, data platforms, automation, and modern digital architectures.

  • Experience aligning transformation initiatives with business strategy and financial outcomes.

  • Demonstrated ability to operate at the C-suite and Board level.

  • Strong change management, governance, and execution capabilities.

  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.

  • Partner with Finance on investment governance, ROI measurement, and value realization.

  • Collaborate with Risk, Legal, and Compliance on responsible AI and data governance.

  • Support M&A integration, digital platform consolidation, and capability acceleration.


Working Conditions

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base Salary: $349,000 – $428,000
