The Head of Operations will serve as the enterprise architect of operational performance, overseeing global supply chain, production, logistics, and enterprise operations functions. Reporting directly to the COO and partnering with the CEO and Board, this leader will ensure operational strategy is executed with precision, resilience, and innovation.

This role is designed for a senior operator with exceptional leadership and transformation expertise, capable of balancing day-to-day execution with long-term strategic planning.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

  • Global Operational Leadership: Direct day-to-day and long-term operations across supply chain, logistics, production, procurement, and service delivery.

  • Operational Excellence: Implement Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement practices to optimize cost, quality, and efficiency.

  • Resilience & Risk Management: Build operational resilience programs addressing supply chain disruptions, compliance, and continuity.

  • Digital Transformation: Champion automation, AI, and digital platforms to modernize operations and create future-ready systems.

  • Sustainability & ESG: Drive environmentally responsible operations and align supply chains with corporate ESG commitments.

  • Talent & Culture: Lead and mentor large-scale teams globally, cultivating a culture of accountability and innovation.

  • Executive Reporting: Provide insights and performance updates to the COO, CEO, and Board of Directors.

  • Cross-Functional Partnership: Collaborate with Finance, Technology, HR, and Product leaders to ensure operational alignment with corporate strategy.

Qualifications – What We Are Looking For

  • 18+ years of progressive leadership in operations, supply chain, or enterprise transformation, with at least 8+ years in executive roles.

  • Proven track record in Fortune 500 or multinational organizations, leading complex global operations.

  • Expertise in supply chain strategy, global logistics, and operational transformation.

  • Experience with digital operations tools, ERP systems, and automation platforms.

  • Strong financial acumen, with experience managing multi-billion-dollar operational budgets.

  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree in Operations, Engineering, or Business Administration strongly preferred.

  • Exceptional Board-level communication and influencing skills.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead large, global, diverse teams in complex environments.

Strategic Support

The Head of Operations acts as a key strategic partner to the COO, CEO, and Board, ensuring that operations are a driver of growth, resilience, and shareholder value. Responsibilities include:

  • Supporting M&A integration and new market entry strategies.

  • Advising on capital allocation for operational growth.

  • Partnering with CIO and CFO to align technology, finance, and operations roadmaps.

  • Acting as a change leader to ensure cultural and operational transformation.

Working Conditions

  • Remote-first role with global travel to headquarters, facilities, and client sites.

  • Requires flexibility across time zones to support multinational operations.

  • Operates in a fast-paced, highly visible environment requiring precision and agility.

  • High accountability role with significant exposure to the C-suite and Board.
