The Vice President of Supply Chain & Logistics will lead global operations, overseeing procurement, planning, transportation, distribution, and supplier management. This role requires visionary leadership, operational excellence, and the ability to scale global systems while embedding sustainability and innovation across the value chain.
This is a high-impact executive role with direct visibility to the CEO, COO, and Board of Directors.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities

Global Supply Chain Leadership: Oversee end-to-end supply chain operations including procurement, planning, logistics, and distribution.

Operational Excellence: Drive efficiency improvements through lean methodologies, automation, and continuous improvement programs.

Digital Transformation: Implement AI, IoT, and predictive analytics to optimize forecasting, inventory management, and logistics performance.

Supplier & Partner Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, carriers, and strategic partners worldwide.

Risk & Resilience: Develop strategies for business continuity, geopolitical risk management, and supply chain resilience.

Sustainability Integration: Lead ESG initiatives to reduce carbon footprint, enhance ethical sourcing, and meet global compliance standards.

Financial Stewardship: Manage multi-billion-dollar supply chain budgets with focus on cost optimization and ROI.

Executive Reporting: Provide performance dashboards, forecasts, and strategic updates to the executive leadership team and Board.
Qualifications, Special Knowledge, Education and Abilities

18+ years of progressive experience in supply chain, logistics, or operations leadership, with at least 7+ years in executive roles.

Proven success in Fortune 500 or global manufacturing/consumer goods enterprises.

Strong expertise in global logistics, supplier management, procurement, and advanced supply chain technologies.

Deep understanding of compliance frameworks, international trade regulations, and ESG priorities.

Advanced degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or MBA preferred.

Exceptional leadership skills with Board-level communication presence.

Track record of leading large global teams and complex cross-border operations.
Strategic Support
The VP of Supply Chain & Logistics will act as a strategic partner to the COO, CFO, and CEO, ensuring supply chain strategy supports corporate growth, customer expectations, and shareholder value. Contributions include:

Advising on capital allocation for logistics infrastructure, automation, and digital platforms.

Supporting M&A integrations by aligning acquired supply chains with enterprise operations.

Partnering with sustainability leaders to embed green practices and ethical sourcing into global supply chain systems.
